Remembrance Park is a public memorial honoring all veterans.
In addition to an Honor Brick walkway that recognizes those who have served in the armed forces, the Park will feature the Wall of Honor and Remembrance,  which pays special tribute to the more than 1,000 Ohio State alumni who gave the last full measure of devotion for their country.

The result of a collaboration between the Ohio State Athletics Department and Ohio State’s Army Reserve Officer Training Corps, Remembrance Park is located at the northwest corner of Tuttle Park Place and Woody Hayes Drive, just north of Ohio Stadium and south of Converse Hall, the ROTC facility.

Family members, students, faculty and the public can visit and use the memorial area as a place of reflection. It will  also serve as a green space for ROTC and Department of Athletics activities including formations, ceremonies and family activities during sporting event weekends.

Those wishing to provide support for the Remembrance Park and the
Wall of Honor and Remembrance can do so online at:

Remembrance Park held a recognition of donors
and a progress review on Veterans Day 2009.

AFROTC commander Colonel Curtis Petrek acknowledged the donors present,
and announced that an architect has been solicited to complete the Park.
Fundraising continues, with about $80,000 still needed to complete the project.
The cadets of all the ROTC branches at Ohio State formed up at the event, for
the formal retiring of the colors and taps.  Jerry Vance announced that another
50 bricks were added to the Walk prior to the USC football game.

Honor Bricks in Remembrance Park are a heartfelt way to honor a parent, son, daughter or any beloved individual who has served our country, and to support those serving today.

In recognition of a tax-deductible gift* to the university, your brick will be engraved with a message of your choosing and placed along the side of the Remembrance Park walkway that traverses the commons area in the direction of St. John Arena.

The Honor Brick program was established by The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Franklin County in coordination with Ohio State ROTC and University Development. Proceeds support Remembrance Park and the ROTC programs at Ohio State.

The cost of each engraved Honor Brick is $100 and a replica Brick is $50
